Hello everyone! Today we’re going to dive into some classic gaming action with our Battleship template. It’s time to strategize, plot, and sink some ships! So grab your pens, mark your coordinates, and let the battles begin! Don’t forget to share with your friends on our website. All right, let’s set sail!

This Battleship paper template is great for printing on standard size:

  • 8.27 × 11.69 – sheet in inches
  • 210 × 297 – sheet in mm (A4 is a paper size defined by ISO 216, based on the metric system of measures)

Rules for game

Rule #1: Each player gets their own game board with a grid of squares, labeled with letters for rows and numbers for columns. This is where you’ll plot your fleet and track your opponent’s hits and misses.

Rule #2: The objective? To strategically place your fleet of ships on the grid without your opponent guessing their locations. Your fleet will consist of ships of different lengths, from the mighty aircraft carrier to the sneaky little patrol boat.

Rule #3: Once the fleets are set, players take turns calling out coordinates, attempting to hit their opponent’s ships. For example, “B-5” or “G-10.”

Rule #4: If a shot lands on a square occupied by an opponent’s ship, it’s a hit! Mark it on your tracking grid with a red peg. Misses are marked with a white peg.

Rule #5: The game continues until one player successfully sinks all of their opponent’s ships. That’s when victory is declared, and bragging rights are earned!
